Duration of our NVQs and Qualifications

You have 12 months of full support from your allocated assessor to complete the online qualifications. The total duration of the NVQ is dependent on how quickly you can gather the relevant evidence. Our online qualifications are designed for you to complete at your own pace, when its convenient for you. Delegates achieve their qualification from 2 months – 12 months, all dependant on your time. We will work with you to ensure you meet your objective. Our online elearning platform has the resources you need to assist you in gathering the relevant evidence and allowing you to track your progress at all times.

Support for Online Qualifications

You have between 12 months to complete, however, learners achieve their qualification from two months. Besides this, you have unlimited support during this time and can contact your assessor by telephone, email or via the online portal and most importantly 7 days a week. Your allocated assessor will work with you throughout this time to ensure you meet the necessary requirements. There are no examinations and it is impossible to fail, your assessor will work with you to ensure you successfully achieve your NVQ.

Assessment

To achieve the qualification you must demonstrate your skills, knowledge and understanding by completing the units. We will identify your requirements at commencement, therefore we can work with you to ensure you meet the standards set out in the Awarding Body specification. There are no hidden fees the prices advertised include Awarding Body Registration and Certification.

Process

Candidates are required to submit the eligibility form in order for us to carry out our initial assessment. If you are eligible we will enrol you on to the qualification and your assessor will email you to arrange a convenient time for your induction. During the induction process, they will discuss the individual learning plan and explain the assessment process, etc. At this time they will also show you the portal and the different functions and resources available with the NVQ online you are registered on.

Assessment for the online qualifications are by the production of a personal eportfolio demonstrating your knowledge and meeting the standards at the different levels as per each qualification specification.

You upload your work to the online portal, this could be work based products, witness statements, knowledge questions, reflective accounts (you will find the same evidence can be used multiple times). Your assessor will assess your work and provide constructive feedback, they will identify any gaps you may have and communicate with your via the elearning platform. They will ensure you meet the specific assessment criteria.

One of our internal verifiers will also carry out IQA during your NVQ to ensure it meets the qualification specification, this prevent delays at the end when awaiting certification. If there are any gaps your assessor will advise and together they can be rectified. Once IQA sampling has been carried out we will claim your certificate and your certificates will be emailed within a few working days from date of claim. Your portfolio may also be externally verified by the Awarding Body to ensure a high standard is met and they are satisfied with our assessment decisions.
