Level 6 NVQ health and safety online is the equivalent of an undergraduate qualification, equalling a Bachelors’ degree. Personal requirements of every candidate are identified at the beginning of the training so that coaching can be tailored towards the individual’s requirements. The Level 6 health and safety NVQ online is needed by Company Directors, Advisors, Managers and Supervisors, as well as by those responsible for implementing and ensuring the maintenance of adequate and legally compliant policies within a company/business. With this Proqual Level 6 NVQ Diploma Health and Safety it is at your own pace and we give you 24 months of full support.

Level 6 health and safety qualification ensures that each candidate is able to plan, detail and implement health and safety policies for each level of the business, taking into account industry-specific legislation. Each successful candidate will be able to adapt the Level 6 NVQ health and safety for the organisation in which they are working in, for instance; hospitality, healthcare, logistics, construction or wholesale and retail.

How do you obtain this NVQ Health and Safety? 

To achieve this Level 6 qualification you must demonstrate your skills, knowledge and understanding by completing the ten mandatory units.  Most importantly this qualification allows you to learn, develop and practice skills required for employment and/or career progression at your own pace. Candidates can attain certification within three months of beginning the health and safety NVQ, or they can spread the overall qualification over a two-year period, so depending on their needs, time and learning abilities. Your eportfolio will consist of your all your evidence, including work based products, witness statements, reflective accounts, professional discussions, knowledge tasks and an observation may also be deemed necessary. Once your assessor is satisfied as to your competency, the work is forwarded to an IQA who will confirm that the qualification can be appropriately awarded. This is to prevent delays obtaining your certificate from the Awarding Body.

Entry requirements for Level 6 Health and Safety qualification online

There are no set entry requirements for the Occupational Health and Safety NVQ but candidates must be over the age of 19. English must be your first language or you are fluent in English. This NVQ is also ideal for those who have achieved the NVQ health and safety Level 3, NEBOSH General, NEBOSH Diploma and NVQ health and safety Level 5 however this is not a mandatory requirement. If you hold any of these qualifications listed please inform us when you apply and complete the eligibility form as we may be able to offer you this qualification at a reduced rate. This ProQual qualification has replaced the NVQ Level 5 Health and Safety.

MEMBERSHIP TO PROFESSIONAL BODIES 

The qualification is recognised by IOSH and on enrolment of this Level 6 NVQ occupational health and safety qualification, you can join IOSH. This NVQ Level 6 qualification exceeds the requirement for Graduate Membership (GradIOSH) leading to Chartered Membership (CMIOSH). This ProQual qualification replaced the NVQ Level 5 Health and Safety.
