Level 6 NVQ Construction Contracting Operations Management is for candidates working in a management role in the construction industry. This Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Construction provides a nationally recognised construction qualification for those candidates involved with managing contracting operations. It also allows candidates to apply for their CSCS Black Card. Candidates follow one of five pathways depending on their job role; which can be Estimating, Buying, Planning, Surveying and General.

The purpose of the Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Construction Contracting Operations Management is for candidates to demonstrate their occupational competence and provides confirmation that the candidate has the skills, knowledge and understanding that meets the standards of this recognised construction qualification and apply for the CSCS Black Card. One of our experienced allocated assessors will work with the candidate to ensure their portfolio of evidence demonstrates their achievements in the learning outcomes and assessment criteria for each unit to ensure achievement of this Level 6 NVQ Construction Contracting Operations Management.

In order to obtain the CSCS black card candidates must also have a current Health, Safety and Environmental Touch Screen Test (within 24 months). Discounted rates are available for employers with multiple construction managers or for those that have already completed qualifications with us.

How is this Construction NVQ assessed in order to apply for the CSCS Black Card?

Evidence for this construction qualification is made up of a portfolio which consists of observations, professional discussions, work based products, witness statements, recognition of prior learning, question and answers. Before registering with us we ask for each candidate to complete the skills test which will advise us of your requirements and will allow us to complete the Initial Assessment. One of our experienced assessors will then discuss the assessment plan with you, along with the process for achieving this Level 6 NVQ Construction management. On enrolment you will receive your login details to the portal which will allow you to work on your NVQ as you please, this is optional and will allow you to track your progress at all times. All resources and assessment guidance are on the online portal.

Entry Requirements for this NVQ Level 6 Construction Operations Management

There are no specific formal entry requirements for this construction qualification however candidate must be in a workplace position that allows them to demonstrate their competence in line with the assessment criteria and selected pathway. Candidates can complete this at their own pace and our assessor will work with candidate to achieve the objective within the required time to obtain the CSCS Black Card.

What is included in the price of the Level 6 construction operations management qualification?

The price includes registration with Awarding Body, assessment process and certification. Candidates complete this Level 6 NVQ from 2No months and they have upto 24No months of full support to achieve. Unfortunately our price doesn’t include the CITB touchscreen test or the CSCS Card, we can do this for you free of charge but not the external costs. We will not enrol candidates on this course until initial assessment has been carried out. If you are a construction organisation that is CITB registered, this qualification is eligible for claiming a grant and we can claim this for you on achievement.
